The fight is furious but not fast. Steph's reluctance to kill things is fast becoming a serious problem -- they keep falling down and getting back up, down and back up, until Steph realises that she's only going to wear herself out and they're never going to stop.
"I guess it's too late to ask if you wanna be friends," she mutters grimly, and lifts her spiked club, looking the foremost creepy-child-thing full in the face.
...and then she breaks and sprints for the lobby doors. She can't do it, it'd go against everything she's worked so hard for, it'd put her right back to trying to kill her dad on that stupid bucket of money --
Doesn't mean she doesn't kick the doors furiously when she's slammed them behind her, though. Stupid freaking Bat-things.
